FUEL ADDITIVE FOR RTR 160, 180, 160fi.....( advocated by TVS motors for better performance)


IFTEX Clean System G is a Generation V gasoline fuel additive, with outstanding clean-up and keep-clean properties, most convenient to use by adding to the fuel tank in the recommended proportion and designed to keep the fuel system free of performance inhibiting deposits.

Anti-lock Braking System or ABS

An anti-lock braking system (ABS) is a safety system that prevents the wheels on a motor vehicle from locking up (or ceasing to rotate) while braking.
A rotating road wheel allows the driver to maintain steering control under heavy braking by preventing a skid and allowing the wheel to continue interacting tractively with the road surface as directed by driver steering inputs.
I post this here coz RTR 180 is now with ABS :)

TVS puts on display ABS kitted Apache RTR 180 @ Auto Expo 2010.. and yes some cool concepts (as usual).
TVS had its regular production models like the Flame, Scooty Pep+, Scooty Streak etc. on display at this year's Auto Expo. Also on display was a Hybrid (petrol + battery powered) Scooty Streak. In fact test rides were being provided to select guests on the Hybrid Scooty Streak, just outside the TVS Pavilion. It therefore appears that a hybrid two wheeler from TVS is very much a production reality. Way to go TVS.

But the center of attraction at the TVS Pavilion during this year's Auto Expo were the recently launched 110 cc Jive (with the clutchless gear shift mechanism) and the Wego scooter. These two models were kept at the center of the TVS Pavilion.. and according to TVS big bosses, the focus of TVS in 2010 would be very much on these two models. So much for over enthusiastic rumours of a 200(+) cc Apache RTR.

Minor visual difference is in the “HyperEdge” sticker on the tank flaps. New design stripes on the tank, front fender and rear tail panel. Also the RTR Hyper Edge 160 gets the kind of detachable rear mud fender as available on the RTR 180.
Honestly I can’t believe that this is an upgrade from a company like TVS Motor.

2010 New TVS Apache RTR 180 Indonesia Showed at PRJ 2010

TVS Apache RTR 180 has been showed at Pekan Raya Jakarta (PRJ) 2010 by PT TVS Motor Company Indonesia (TMCI).
It’s indicated that the India motorcycle would go on sale in Indonesia soon.
The motorcycle 180cc would use engine 4-stroke with EFi technology, displacement 177.4 cc, power 17.3 PS @ 8.500 RPM, Torsi 15.5 Nm @ 6.500 RPM and manual transmission 5 speeds.

The look of the brand new TVS Velocity 160 is just outstanding. This motor bike is designed in such a way that is looking like a redefined model of the TVS Apache RTR. The chassis of the brand new TVS Velocity 160 is compacted with the customized fibre glass and the bike also has the customized swing arm. The rear side tyre of this motor bike is so wide. The broad tyre is providing the sporty look to this motor bike. The front side tyre is like Battlax with the measure of 120/70-17 and the measure of rear side is 150/60-17.
